As we promised and planned we started the construction of the first two classes of primary school in Fomena. 

The pictures were sent to us by Daniel, our Country Director for "Ghana Fort Amsterdam" Onlus.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We do our best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the children of the villages of Otsir, Fomena, Ademanù, Taido, Kwesilansa, Efutuaka and to all our friends. 

We will prepare for all a delicious pineapple jam.

It was a case our passage in the village of kwesilanza October 14, 2015, we were on the road that would lead us to Efutuaka.

We were impressed by the amount of children who were at school, but almost outdoors. A long bamboo hut.

                             

So we decided immediately to renovate a dilapidated old building that was near.

                           

Decided October 14, 2015, completed the work in November thanks to Daniel and our Onlus Ghana Fort Amsterdam. 

And now, all in the new school!

ANOMABO BEACH RESORT

Many friends ask me about my morning breakfast in Ghana. I reply that my breakfast is the same as I do in Italy. Of course with the addition of delicious local produce namely banana, pineapple and orange juice. In this picture taken on the table of the dining room of Anomabo Beach Resort you can see the products of which I spoke and even the cup of tea and the inevitable packet of biscuits "Gran Turchese" that I carry from Italy.

These cookies are supporting me in the last fifty years.

Taido

On 12 October we inaugurated the forth kindergarten constructed by the Onlus Ghana Fort Amsterdam in the village of Taido. To Mr. Franco it was given the honor of cutting the ribbon together of the Director of Ghana Education Service in Saltpond, Nana Franciscus and his wife.
