Hinii - 2018

The kindergartens in Ghana and in particular in the Saltpond district, where we work with our non-profit organization "Ghana Fort Amsterdam", have a very important role as they allow the numerous children of each village to learn both to read and to write in their own local language (Twi Fante) and in the English language. This is in fact the prerequisite for access to primary school. Today, in the village of Hinii, we have finished building a new kindergarten and at the same time we have renewed the existing one.

With the donation received from one of our friends 

we have created a carousel, a swing and a slide 

for the younger children of Fomena

The construction work of Hinii kindergarten are well advanced, as you can see from the attached photos.

We will also build two classes for primary school in Ankaful.

In January we will show you the status of the works concerning the two villages.

Hinii is a characteristic village.

They preserve the skeleton of a whale inside a hut.

Just in these days we have begun the construction of the new kindergarten under the Direction of our Daniel.

ANKAFUL 2017

On the 17th of October, Gianni and Franco, representatives of Ghana Fort Amsterdam Onlus, along with friends who accompanied us on this trip, gathered in Ankaful with the Ghana Education Service officials to discuss and agree on the program of activities from undertake in 2017-2018.

Pro Spello award 2017

On March 18, 2017, our "Ghana Fort Amsterdam" Onlus awarded the Pro Spello Award 2017 

for social and philanthropic commitment. 

President Gianni Cruciani withdrew the award thanking all the friends who contribute to the realization of our project.
